                                  GOALS

The first goal of mine while designing the electric drive unit was to find a way to produce an alternative energy vehicle that would be affordable to everyone.  Realizing that almost 90% of all passenger vehicles are front wheel drive with an unpowered rear axle would allow me to take advantage of those vehicles.  Then the goal was to design an electric drive unit that would be powerful enough, but small enough fit in this area of the vehicle.  This goal was met with building of a prototype that replaced the rear axle with our electric drive unit; the prototype proved that the technology worked.   With 120 million front wheel drive vehicles on the road in the U.S., the idea that rechargeable electric power can be added has to be taken serious.

Installation was another concern, to keep the cost down the unit had to be mass produced and installation had to be simple.  The front wheel drive vehicles big advantage to the manufactures was that the engine, transmission, drive axles and wheels were all one unit for easy assembly line installation, our electric drive unit is a complete unit that replaces the standard rear axle for easy installation.  This unit also does not connect to the standard gasoline power system; it is a completely separate power system.

With the recent awarding of two vital parts of our design from the U.S. Patent Office on our Electric drive unit we feel that our design is secure and it is time to move our product forward.

The most economical way to do this is by first putting a team of investors, engineers, design and marketing people together.  The next step is finding a front wheel drive vehicle that is not only popular, but has a good mechanical record.   The purpose of this is to have an alternative power system that fits as many vehicles as possible.  By concentrating on one vehicle a minimum amount of money is spent and the income from this unit will go into research and development of other models.

I estimate that for about $250,000 that a foundation for AutoEdrive can be established and the first model built with the idea that the rest are mass produced.  Once this model is built with the latest in battery and electric motor technology, I feel that further growth will come quickly.

A very important part of getting started is finding someone that knows the industry and has the experience to move this idea forward from the beginning.  This individual or group would at this point have to be willing to do this as a partner.

There are other ideas that will help make this idea a reality, but what is important now is to get started.  If you are someone that feels you have the knowledge or experience that can move this product forward and are willing to start for a percentage of this product, contact us.
